America is increasingly pushing for reconciliation between Hashim Thaçi and Ibrahim Rugova because of the need for Albanian political unity in Kosovo. This was stressed yesterday in Tirana by US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, speaking about the situation in Kosovo and the diplomatic efforts to resolve it.
