Albanian stewardesses under the watch of the “gorillas” Page 5 Albanian stewardesses who have traveled through various places in Europe have never been treated in this way. What the Italian authorities are doing to them is a form of treatment, because this happens not only to them but not to their colleagues, even if they are from the East.

13 parties seek to bring the election law before Parliament

The 13 parties insist on their request for consideration of the law “On some amendments to the electoral law” 13 parties seek to bring the election law before Parliament The 13 parties insist on their request for consideration of the law “On some amendments to the electoral law” It is again the Republican Party that announced another statement following the Declaration of the 13 Parties, dated 8 September 1995. And again it is the signatures of the 13 chairpersons of the 13 parties that support this declaration, this time asking the Presidium of the People’s Assembly to place for discussion, under an expedited procedure, the examination of amendments to the electoral law. As it appears, the previous declaration has ended up on Mr. Arbnori’s desk, but although it has also been supported by the signatures of 40 deputies, so far it gives no sign that it may be considered within this year. Apparently, the somewhat drawn-out and complicated actions of the Presidium of the Assembly make it possible for the secretaries of the 13 parties, despite having achieved a partial victory in the consensus with the President of the Republic over the 4% threshold and the number of deputies, to once again turn to Mr. Arbnori. Perhaps Brojka’s statements and those of SHED, as well as the continued exclusion of the PD from the all-party consensus, were reasons that increased the parties’ skepticism and strengthened their insistence on the electoral law. According to the Republican leader, Mr. Sabri Godo, all political subjects should have the electoral law in hand within this year in order to enable the start of a fair and calm election campaign. Most of them have been subjected to criminal prosecution. The reason for this has been their return to their properties.

Mr. Godo’s meeting in the municipality of Lumas in Berat Socialists threaten participants with cutting off assistance The Socialist agitators were also helped with great zeal by the chairman of the PSD section for the municipality, Bilbil Çifligu. In addition to the bad weather, as a result of rain that did not stop for two consecutive days, Mr. Sabri Godo’s meeting with the residents of the municipality of Lumas in Berat was further hindered by provocations from the Socialists, who tried to disrupt the rally by threatening the residents. Nano does not request a review of the case

Fatos Nano confirms that he is guilty. Nano does not request a review of the case Fatos Nano confirms that he is guilty. This was learned through his lawyers, who clarify that Fatos Nano is not filing a request for a review of the court proceedings. A request for a review of judicial proceedings is filed by the person serving a final sentence when he is convinced that new facts have been discovered after the decision, facts that were not uncovered during the investigation or the trial, but emerged from the development of events and the judgment of a third party connected to the accused’s charges. Nano’s lawyers clarify that they will file such a request after the elections. Continued on p. 3

The first 10,000 copies of the PRSH program

These days, the first 10,000 copies of the initial print run of the program of the Albanian Republican Party will go into circulation. The first 10,000 copies of the PRSH program These days, the first 10,000 copies of the initial print run of the Program of the Albanian Republican Party will go into circulation. The revised PRSH program is an enrichment of the existing program with contemporary ideas and alternatives imposed by developments in Albanian society since its first publication in 1991. As emphasized in the Program, it synthesizes the PRSH experience in its struggle to break away from the communist past and expresses the involvement of national consciousness. At the same time, it clearly sets out the PRSH position as a party of the conservative and anti-communist Right, a political practice that “derives from the right and is realized on the principles of modern conservatism, patriotism, democracy, the rule of law, property, morality, family, and the free-market economy.” PRSH thought and practice are based on the patriotic traditions of the National Renaissance, on the valuable achievements of European-American conservatism, and on its own political experience. PRSH has clearly positioned itself as a right-wing party. It considers communism an enemy of the nation and the Left its main political opponent.
