The position disappointed by the socialists

Shehu: "The PS cannot be reformed" After the congress, the PS can still consider itself troubled by the winds coming from the very chairman of the PD, Mr. Sali Berisha. Yes, the party has been shaken by a crisis at a time when the PS can also say that, at least at this stage, it has merely defended itself through boldness. This move seems to surrender without giving in to the political framework and government? Thus, Skënder Gjinushi, ironically, asks in one way or another about the socialists’ own approach? Could the President of Albania, yesterday’s opponent, be the next rupture? In one of the conclusions, the PS was seen as the clan and the light of its politicians. and the harsh movement of their statements, according to Shehu, as if integrated thoughts oddly enough, are said to enter and exit in a joint press conference. They are used to the old government and are trying to play a certain role to help them. In fact, the two social democrats are clearly here to reach an understanding. They are also harshly left with the matter of the contested appointment. Shehu is not surprised by the party’s factions and internal crises. Further below, in order to stop things more easily, according to him, the strengthening of the PS reform leaders, leaving them in the politics and public pronouncements of theirs, creates an environment between the old wing and the major signs of democratic renewal. "The next leader of the PS should come more from the internal forums of this party, which keep in mind its line in the years of crises and difficulties. All this by seeing the PS more as one of the parties that was born and formed under very special conditions." After this, he emphasizes that the party must be clear in relation to traditional socialism and modern socialism, without clinging to past forms and by opening the way for a deeper reform. The fate of the PS, according to Shehu, depends on its ability to adapt to the new political reality. The solution cannot come from outside, but from the structures themselves and internal debate. "This is a long and difficult process," he says, stressing that in politics there is no room for improvisation. If the party does not understand this, it risks remaining isolated on the Albanian political scene.
