The giants of usury are at war

In Vlora, private security officers of "VEFA" and "Cenaj Co" are entangled Crime is hitting back harder An image of the minister's success. Organized crime has again seized the advanced classes, after the police cleansing in Italian offices was shown to be an unlucky retreat, or its field in this sector. The lawful market and the usury market are two opposites in so many ways that it is impossible for them to slowly move toward an unclear road. Instead of solving things, the police should return to their usual streets. Furthermore, the latest manifestation of this phenomenon is spreading in Durrës as well as in Tirana. The relations among usury groups and the transfer of their assets among one another will become the subject of investigation by the ministries and by the anti-crisis government. Since a week earlier, in the center of Vlora, a private security employee was killed, the police will now also view private security corporations as a possible subject for criminal activity. This was in fact requested by Democratic Party deputy and head of the Security Commission, Sokol Bizhga, who after consulting with Interior Minister Belul Celo said that law-enforcement bodies should pay more attention to these businesses, which according to him are linked to the usury sector. Bizhga said that the regulations and guidelines enabling the creation of private security companies are also being reviewed, as well as the current law, which according to him has left many loopholes for abuses and various criminal activities. There is also concern on the part of law-enforcement bodies because, according to information coming from Vlora, usury activity in that city is growing rapidly, not only almost pushing out the lawful market but also turning into a new phenomenon affecting families and citizens. While the police have considered these groups and their assets closely linked to crime, a special group made up of the police, the prosecutor's office and the National Informative Service is preparing to launch a plan to strike them. These days, especially in Vlora, some of the people involved in this activity have been identified, while many others are under surveillance. A group of prosecutors has already begun investigations into some cases of financial transactions and the transfer of real estate believed to be linked to usury. In Tirana, on the other hand, there have been the first moves by investigators to verify the activities of several private firms operating in this sector. At the head of the task force against usury is thought to be a well-known prosecutor, while in some cases the names of businessmen and intermediaries linked to this network have also been mentioned. According to the newspaper's sources, the investigations may extend to Durrës, Fier and other cities where similar cases have been recorded.
