Sudja: My clients should remain calm
Yesterday, around 16:00, our journalist had a telephone conversation with Sudja and asked
A monstrous criminal act
Godo: a minute of silence for the child brutally massacred
Arbnori: No! Mourning only when distinguished personalities die
Crimes have occurred before, but not like this one, which, in the way it was organized—three men against a child—goes beyond the dimensions of an ordinary murder. It is a precedent that has outraged the entire nation and must therefore be severely condemned. The guilty must be punished without the slightest mercy; they terrorized an infant. This does not happen here.
The Republic is uncompromising in cases like these: death for those who take away other people’s right to live. Under this law of the Republic, the murderers of the 9-year-old child cannot escape either. Mr. Godo asked Parliament to recommend that the Government take urgent anti-crime measures, so that crime cannot breathe and feels the blow of the fight against crime at all times. Only an intensive and uninterrupted struggle can keep crime in check and stop criminals in their tracks.
Mr. Sabri Godo, addressing Parliament and its Speaker, Mr. Arbnori, asked that a minute of silence be observed for the massacred child.
Mr. Arbnori, although spiritually in agreement with Godo, replied to his proposal that mourning could be observed only in the event of the death of distinguished personalities.
Mr. Godo, exercising his right of reply, told Arbnori that an innocent child who has been massacred should be honored just as much as distinguished people.
Yesterday in the Albanian Parliament, MP Sabri Godo called on the law-enforcement authorities to solve the crime and indignantly condemned the monstrous act, which could only be committed by a monstrous person.
Sudja leaving the offices of the newspaper “Republika”
getë
Sudja and asked her the following questions:
How was your clientele today?
—Very good, better than on other days.
—Have you had clients?
—More than on other days.
—Weren’t they frightened by the rain?
—Not at all.
—What about Parliament’s law?
—What is that?
—A law that will legalize the continuation of the course of the usurious dealings. A commission will also be set up, made up of distinguished names in the fields of justice, macroeconomics and finance.
—And what is there to be afraid of?
—Is everything conducted at your place in accordance with the law?
—The opposite is unthinkable. We serve our clients and conduct charitable activities within the laws of the state.
—Do you think the state is putting pressure on you?
—I don’t think so. In any case, you don’t seem to ask the state—why are you asking me?
According to the journalist’s observation, Sudja’s clientele was very active yesterday, as on all the other days. The clients feel secure because she has been punctual in meeting deadlines.
