Who is whispering poison in Albanians' ears?

Albania will be built, even if only to spite the Albanians It seems that someone is pouring the poison of national division into Albanians' ears. At every turn on the political stage, it is sometimes the North and sometimes the South that is brought up. Instead of unity, division is being fomented. It seems destined that the end of this century should find Albanians divided, even here within the borders. Even at this moment, Albania is playing badly in politics. The dirty political game of building power on national division is seriously bringing us down, and we are heading toward self-destruction as a nation. Whoever inspires this fratricidal game is nothing but a rabid anti-Albanian, or some sinful apprentice given the mission of sowing the evil seed of North-South division in Albanian soil. When the protests began, described as a transhistorical rebellion, the fire of division was fanned precisely then. Failed politicians tried to set the North against the South. Even now, when we are waiting for the breeze of peace to blow, gasoline is once again being poured on the fire. The chosen tack is the same: the North against the South, which supposedly is in government. As soon as the new government was formed, the opposition set its town criers to work, spreading the news that the government was not of the North but of the South. Instead of uncovering the weak points in the government's program and attacking them with “cannons,” with the good intention of ensuring that governance served Albania and the Albanians. The events in the North in recent days have given politicians plenty to do; they did nothing but get themselves entangled. A statement by Interior Minister Ceka angered the DP and set its post-election machinery in motion. In fact, crime has taken hold in Albania—not because its location is precisely in the North. Shocking events are happening in the South and in Central Albania too. The activities of gangs in the area along the Lushnje-Fier national road and in the Lushnje-Berat-Fier triangle contradict the claim that crime has been exported to the North. A point. Ceka's “bombshell” seems out of place. Armed groups of the former [text unclear] are operating in the North; the Interior Minister has no reason to make such statements, but should put the bandits behind bars and leave them to justice. The DP, meanwhile, seems to suffer from xenophobia, taking criminals under its protection in the name of the party itself. [Text fragment:] North—where will the divisions among Albanians continue, after the division of Albania into North and South? The country needs national unity and reconciliation. Albania must be built, even to spite the Albanians who have gone mad, and it must get through this and leave it behind.
