The two “main” political forces, PS and PD, continue to regard pluralism as their exclusive domain, while power as immovable property. The much-trumpeted idea of national reconciliation no longer represents a standard point of reference, but has been downgraded into authoritarianism and a struggle for supremacy. Within the farcical left-wing coalition, everything is now accompanied by a sense of suspicion. Very soon this coalition may break apart, even though fantasists like Ceka hope for a four-year mandate. The districts are almost completely distanced from the politics of the center, when a group of enemies and one can see bandits in a government and, taking advantage of the muddle and institutional disarray, have unleashed smuggling, out of spite toward the predecessors who grew fat quite well for nearly 5 years. In the face of this governance, PD is carrying out opposition. Its activists do not hesitate to work 5-6 hours every day at rallies, with or without advances. New elections are commonly demanded as well. But the socialists, in truth, seem more confused than angry. PD breaks the “rules of the game.” Both sides had an agreement, made into electoral law in their favor in order to sideline the smaller parties, and therefore they did not accept 29 June as a political solution. Power was conceived as a mechanical exchange of places. Democracy as autocracy. Political immorality as the purest expression of national morality. This was the fiercest challenge to the electorate, a brutal concession to communist survival. As a result, the state stands on false structures. It has taken the form of a pyramid. Revanchism and meritocracy have trampled constitutional rights, have presumed neo-dictatorship. In Albania, institutions no longer function, but party cells do. From this comes moral degradation, and the national question goes under the table in the Serbo-Greek purgatory. The Leninist law of the land benefits not only Albanian thieves, but also non-Albanian foreigners. It is preparing the auctioning off of Albania, in conditions where there is no Constitution to protect the interests of Albanians, to create a national consciousness. How long like this? Socialists often say there is no other chance. This is the fatality, and fatality can be avoided only by the political-national platform of the Right. This was also confirmed by the PR Congress.
