Political capital is sought
Crime has become fully involved in the political game. By treating crime against a political backdrop, the PS and PD challenge obedience to the law with a strange ambiguity. This creates among the people the mindset that all politics is dirty and that legality is on the side of the strongest. According to such a mindset, if people were willing to sacrifice themselves for their political convictions, they would undoubtedly be great. This notion of political psychiatry, which is being institutionalized in our country, is cynical through and through. It is inspired by politicians with eccentric tendencies, who consider politics an expression of abnormality. There is no doubt that the peace movement initiated in Albania after last year’s unrest has called only for unilateral disarmament. The two largest political groupings, the PS and PD, represent nothing.
