The PD wants the referendum to fail by any means and does not hold back from publicly calling for a boycott, while the PS proclaims: The Constitution is mine! Both are locking horns and trying to ignore the alternatives in between. The Republican Party, convinced that this country needs a Constitution, has called for an awareness campaign free from political and emotional burdens; it has called for debate to raise citizens’ awareness, not noise. Yesterday it denounced the Alliance for the State, which arrogantly assumes the powers of the CEC and launches its campaign on the State Television channel. The RP has also courageously opposed the PD-PS agreement to exclude DBSH from the local commissions. But let us return to the dilemma facing Albanians: “yes” or “no” to the Constitution.
