The ghost of communism disguises itself behind Justice
. The time has come for justice to direct politics, said yesterday the spokesman for Mr. Nano’s government. In principle, the socialists understand that the new concept of a pluralist society does not imply a hierarchy of political privilege, but a hierarchy of law. To speak of a hierarchy of law means breaking away from revolutionary concepts and from the notion of traditional society. Politicization was a pillar of the old communist order, but also of the post-communist transitional order. Increasing loyalty to the party-state constituted the highest moral imperative. Paradoxically, revolutionization was the guiding principle. Continued on page 3
