TIRANA—Serb troops have begun withdrawing from the hot spots in Kosovo, but nothing definite is yet known about what lies ahead.
On the one hand, no one can trust the Serbs not to repeat massacres like those in Drenica somewhere else in Kosovo; on the other hand, nothing definite is yet known about what steps the Albanian authorities and the international community will take regarding the future status of Kosovo. Since 1990, Kosovo has had a President, a Parliament and a government, which to date has managed to open an embassy only in Albania, while the international community continues to “play the fool” in the face of the Albanians’ will.
