Immediately after the adoption of the Constitution, as expected, the official activities of the highest state and government authorities have displayed a complete lack of civic and institutional spirit, a lack of willingness to implement the new legislation, and even hostility toward constitutionalism. Republican MP Godo has denounced several ministers who continue to operate under the old laws, challenging the new article on property. But privatization is not the only process being carried out along an unconstitutional course. Article No. 7 is systematically violated, with the relationships between the branches of power being ignored. Article No. 2, on protecting national interests, is also not being respected, since no measures are being taken to prevent Serbian provocations and incidents inside the Albanian border. There are flagrant violations in the field of universal human rights, such as the case of the death by torture of the 19-year-old imprisoned in Elbasan. TIRANA: Yesterday at midday, Albanian Chief Prosecutor Arben Rakipi held a meeting with the highest-ranking officials of the prosecution service in the capital, at the General Prosecutor’s Office. The meeting began at around 10:00 yesterday morning and ended after three hours of debate and discussion among them on important issues and problems.
