S.O.S. The ship is sinking
Dalip GRECA
The ship named Albania, like the ship of the Apostles on the Sea of Tiberias, which was capsizing in the waves while Christ slept, is at risk of sinking. The SOS signal has been sent for a long time, but the ship is simply going under and the Albanians are making no effort to save it. Prayers to God alone cannot save the ship-Albania from sinking. Everything depends on the captain-state, who seems unlikely to come out of his stupor or narcosis[?].
Yesterday the state sank into chaos. The lack of electricity made the state look like a blind sandërbull wandering blindly through chaos. The lack of bread, water, and electricity for one day turns Albania back into what it was 10 years ago, when Albanians were queuing and everything was rationed, when the bombi woke up from the zgjend[rra?].
Albania has long been going around in circles: it moves forward, but, strangely, its feet carry it backward; one step forward, two steps back. The eight-year transition is trying to obscure the fact that we cannot build a state. And who are we? We, the oldest nation in the Balkans, we who gave the Turkish Empire famous viziers and pashas. 9 parties sign a joint declaration. They call for a new Governing Council, the removal of Klosi and Mazi, financial independence, and realistic coverage of opposition activities. “Otherwise, we will resort to a boycott.”
The political parties of the Albanian opposition, grouped in the political formations of the “United Albanian Right” and the “Union for Democracy,” yesterday called for pluralism to be guaranteed in the public media, so that opposition activities are covered in accordance with the law passed by the Albanian Parliament in the summer of 1997. The meeting of political parties held yesterday, initiated by the Albanian Republican Party, also debated the formation of a new council for public Radio Television, which was deemed illegal. After around 2 hours and 30 minutes of debate, all the parties at the meeting called for the decision appointing the Governing Council of RTVSH to be annulled and for the election
