The state and the anti-state

The state, as a social instrument, is not the product of humanity’s whim, but an indispensable necessity, whose absence breeds total anarchy and calls into question the very existence of the nation. Through the harmonization of social balances, the state creates the preconditions for prosperity and well-being and, as such, gives practical shape to a social community called a nation. The state, which has often been in the hands of occupiers, has represented the basic instrument of oppression and exploitation and, as such, the state and the Albanian have been in perpetual conflict with one another. In our conception, shaped over the centuries, the state constituted an instrument of oppression which not only failed to create the conditions for an organized life based on legal principles, but mercilessly killed, oppressed and exploited people. To protect his honor, life and dignity, the Albanian has always looked after himself. His tower, judging by its location and construction strategy, not by chance resembles a fortress more than a proper dwelling. Majko opposes meeting Bill Clinton

Idealism and... abuse Majko opposes meeting Bill Clinton Yesterday, prestigious American television stations led their news bulletins with the story that the Albanian prime minister had refused to meet the American president, Bill Clinton. The American president waited for hours outside the door, but Majko did not budge from his refusal. Majko refused to meet Clinton for the simple reason that the latter had asked for the meeting to take place in the Oval Office, precisely in that room of the White House where the president sinned with Lewinsky. Even though Mrs. Hillary Clinton had given Majko a long dressing-down, he insisted that he would not meet the president in the room of sins. Newspapers were curious about the Albanian prime minister’s refusal; when they learned the truth, they could not stop laughing. Majko is truly nervous: “I haven’t asked Nano for permission, and I’m afraid of Berisha.” Euro News bought the story today. Kiu Zgjana Cartoon: Idealism and... abuse

Teachers and other people can barely make ends meet.” In an office with a double door, sparsely furnished, with the President’s photograph on the wall opposite and maps of the capital’s layout on the side walls, with the national flag
