By fabricating news such as the meeting between Milošević and Rugova, or the execution of Kosovo activists, some of whom have been confirmed to be alive, the official Serbian media is attempting an anthropological approach to the phenomenon of the war in Kosovo, confusing international public opinion. In this way, the Serbs offered a means of defeating the West with its own weapons. Western media and well-known diplomatic circles reacted angrily to the news made public in recent days by NATO’s spokesperson about the killing of Agani, Haxhiu and the others. It is now believed that such news was deliberately broadcast by the Serbian propaganda machine to unsettle the Western European climate. Yesterday’s version of the meeting between Milošević and Rugova is likewise a clear sign that the Serbs, with their propaganda too, have returned emphatically to the traditions of fascism and Nazism.
