DBSH may leave Parliament

By Dalip GRECA The most constructive political formation in Albanian politics, DBSH is against boycotts and any kind of political show. However, seeing that the Albanian state is opposing the newly approved Constitution, DBSH’s MPs have decided to find a legal way to defend the Constitution, which is being threatened by the state itself, and, if they do not achieve their goal, they will be forced to bid farewell to Parliament. This warning is not a threat, but a reaction compelled by the state’s arbitrariness. It all stems from the arbitrariness of Majko’s ministers regarding property. PR MP and, at the same time, chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee in the People’s Assembly, Sabri Godo, has been forced to request once again an interpellation with Agriculture Minister Lufter Xhuveli. If the war in Kosovo and the arrival of Kosovars in Albania had not intervened, this interpellation would have taken place long ago, and Xhuveli’s ministry might not have engaged so extensively in its unconstitutional actions. In any case, the postponed interpellation will be held again soon. And if the majority does not reflect, if the state does not fundamentally correct the communist land law, the consequences will not fall on the opposition—quite the contrary. DBSH conditions its actions on its program and the electorate it represents. For it, property is sacred, and this sanctity is also enshrined in the Constitution. In this case, the Minister of Agriculture, according to M[?]po, the other ministers too, apparently does not know how to read the Constitution. Since he is blindly convinced that Law 7501 does not conflict with the Constitution, that means he is aware that his actions are unconstitutional. Majko’s minister
