All these news stories, carefully published every day and in detail in all Albanian newspapers, and also helpfully provided by informants at the Ministry of Public Order, would fit entirely into the core that has begun to become “a little criminal.” Indeed, quite naturally, these stories could make these “small-time criminals” feel inferior to their criminal “colleagues,” who have filled the pages of all the newspapers and television broadcasts. One action to complete the “criminal roster” is made even easier by the convenient news of criminals’ permanent departure to an unknown destination.
