Political deals
By Ilir Suli
The democratic movement, in the two largest political camps, is stirring up constant discussion, and now beyond the temptations of the personal and electoral gains of yesterday’s pseudopolitics, it is making a new existence possible.
The latest move, in the two largest political camps, is stirring up constant debate, down to the substantial details and levels, crossing the threshold of the personal and electoral gain of yesterday’s pseudopolitics, and making possible the existence of institutional revitalization. Albania, pushed along, no one likes to leave it this time in a neutral place, and the populists who pretend to accept these products—nothing; they seem to be in the unquestioned worldview. To highlight more sensitively the different interests of the current positions in Albanian politics, we must openly refer to a scenario that has sparked debate over the present and future of the formal opposition coalition, where the moves of the political forces are making institutional governance possible. This formulation today dominates the reason for expressing public interest, in order to intertwine it with the further development of governance and its future. The fragile structure of political changes and the relationship between political forces requires clarification for the future. And, always with such a criterion, it is that we ourselves understand where the course of the governing team will be. The available claims, so that its art is recently arranged through coordination, such declarations as the counting of coalitions and such a one, will clarify it as such evidence, choosing and hoping for the winner’s progress.
If the regime of 14 September was the most grotesque kind of crime, today’s new votes provoked an exaggerated scheme, which has fundamentally shifted the weight of the debates themselves. The new international shock of these days has returned, while reactivated to restore the existing balance arrangements, giving further impetus to the real and so far persistent resistance of the opposition. This is one of those cases in which politics in our country, though not infrequently driven by gain, cannot continue without breaking away from yesterday’s experience. For this reason it must be clarified what is happening today, and how these moves will affect tomorrow.
The intertwined manifestations of a certain opposition reaction, regarding the form of the governing coalition, continue to show that beyond immediate interests there is an effort to give this political confrontation a deeper meaning as well. For this reason, public discourse cannot remain hostage to an artificial spin, but must look toward the possibilities of sustainable development. Otherwise, every move will be perceived as a recycling of the same figures and the same practices.
The hypocrisy of pseudopolitics and its debates seems to have become more evident than ever. For this reason, clarity and responsibility are required. The situation calls for a solution that is not merely momentary, but one with real consequences for political life in the country. This is also why the debate over coalitions and opposition moves must be placed on a more serious, more responsible, and less emotional plane. Only in this way can a return to the same circumstances that have harmed Albanian politics be avoided.
Ultimately, any attempt to understand the present must pass through the analysis of the relationship between yesterday and tomorrow. That is why political deals should not remain merely a journalistic formula, but a true object of scrutiny for citizens and political actors.
