The socialist ladies, after the decision for the death sentence of today’s rulers, paradoxically have discovered the role of slander. In truth they were exposed as such as soon as they launched their offensive against the leader of the opposition, Mr. Berisha, considering him the culprit of all the evils of these months. With completely baseless attacks, the leader of the Democrats has been presented as the future Prime Minister, identifying him with all the evils of the socialist government. Such an unprecedented fabrication exists only in Albania, of the sort of Interior Minister Poji, where a chief prosecutor and a chief police officer are turned into mutual pulicë, an unusual thing for a democratic country. Now there is even a shortage of prisons. With the Nano-Meta trio, the government is carrying out a punitive сценарий for any opponent of its own. Today the Albanian government resembles a Nazi concentration camp. And with the greatest possible independence this has been proclaimed by the spokesperson of the LSI and Deputy Prime Minister Ilir Meta. Meta has taken under his wing the son of his director, the guard of Poçi’s office, and with talk seeks to cover up everything that is happening with the economy. This time he has launched the offensive against the opposition and not only against it. By calling Sali Berisha 'the greatest horror' of the crises and labeling him as the only person responsible for them, Meta is doing nothing other than preparing the ground for a criminal act. Although Meta is the spokesperson of the government cabinet, he must assume responsibility for every economic ruin and corruption. These are beginning to resemble a kidnapping by the communist revolution. Within a few weeks the socialist state has been plunged into a financial catastrophe and an economic collapse that until now had been unimaginable. It is clear that with the fall of the national currency, with rising prices, with the loss of financial reserves and with a large number of enterprises going bankrupt, Albania is rushing straight toward the abyss.
