Honored citizens and shameful authorities
Yesterday I was [?] to block, regarding the issues of declaring an Honorary Citizen, for the contribution he had given to this or that city. And while I was trying these before the tar[?] of political life in Europe was escalating and the Albanian-phobic Serbs, the more they stoked the war with and social justice and not against an Albanian, but Albanians with whom they themselves have confronted? Many things happen and not only with him. Did he accelerate t[?]njen with the whip and to play with files? Honorary Citizen is not only [a] decorated title with [missing], [but] will be a symbol of the nobility and civic spirit of the person, with public [m]activity. For juridical-social institutions that [were] vetted? [missing] serves as an example. Therefore, this institution must act according to public and fair criteria. Upon this [must] rest the spirit of privilege, clientelism and denigration.
Is the majority getting involved in the spread of pseudopolitics? If [taking] into account a government decision for such a decoration, there must be clear reasons and merits. It is better to think long and hard, because [one] day [this] may turn out to be a great public shame. Those who have received it unjustly or have been given it for narrow interests lose its moral meaning. Honorary Citizen is not [a] toy, nor a propaganda tool. It must be an honor for the city and for the citizen. Otherwise, it turns into an unworthy masquerade.
If today people are declared honorary citizens and tomorrow they will be shamed by their actions, then the shame remains with those who proposed them, voted for them and applauded them. Therefore we should not have authorities who use this as an ornament for themselves, but citizens who preserve the moral weight of this institution.
