Corruption, a problem for everyone

OSCE spokesperson speaks At the initiative of the OSCE embassy, a seminar on the fight against corruption was organized yesterday in Tirana. Representatives of the government, parliament, political parties, the press and non-governmental organizations came together at a round table to discuss the phenomenon of corruption. During this event, the spokesperson of the OSCE mission in Albania, Mr. Xhovani Porta, as well as an Italian university professor, presented positions, arguments and conclusions on corruption, ranging from corruption in institutions to the failure to respect public goods. OSCE: We are closely following developments within the PD

A reaction from the OSCE Office in Tirana to the political situation in Albania, as announced to the press by former Democratic deputy chairman Edmund Zhulali and as he describes the rise of the PDS, placing political disappointments within the PD. Speaking to the newspaper “Republika”, the OSCE representative in Tirana, Stefan Frowin, said that within the main opposition party matters are being handled carefully. Berisha and his reformist group have each acted separately in relation to the circle of the former deputy chairman, puo[?].
