EDITORIAL The SP is in trouble with its own commissioners. Chosen as people so loyal to it that they were even entrusted with securing victory at any cost in the 1 October elections, the little puppies of the left on the CEC have now started barking, and even biting their masters’ feet. Beyond the figures of speech, it can be said that this has once again caused political debate in Albania to degenerate into its most dishonourable corners. “Thanks to the merits” of the SP and its militants, the politics proclaimed in this country has ... once again been altered so that it no longer discusses matters seriously. Even when the majority, without being troubled by the fact that for months it had dismissed the objections, with its appointed knights on the CEC, is now dragging out the debate on “improvements” to the point of discussing two, three, or more resignations. In any case, viewed in the context of the reality already made evident in the election processes and the prior debates about them, the Socialists have a right to be angry with Nano (Fotaq), as well as with the others. Still, a puppy remains a puppy, so the SP need not feel sorry as it sees that the day has come when it bites its master too. Ultimately, the problem begins with them themselves, and the commissioners would therefore not be wrong to demand that the masters who put them where they are and trained them how to behave also answer for their mistakes.
