Majko: Never with Milosheviç

Andi Bejtja “I would never meet Milosheviç after the images of massacred Kosovar mothers and children that I have seen,” Majko said in Athens, at a meeting with Albanian emigrants at the Albanian embassy. The Greek loan was the first offered to the Albanian Government that emerged from the 29 June elections, and at the time there were voices saying that former Prime Minister Fatos Nano should speak with Greece’s voice on Balkan issues in order to secure the full amount of this loan, which was essential for the Albanian state, emerging from a major and multidimensional crisis such as that of 1997.
