Shuli’s ministry has brought the two other allied parties in government, the PSD and the PAD, into conflict, with serious accusations by their leaders against one another also emerging. “Corruption, bribery and injustice reign there,” Preç Zogaj told “Gazeta,” after Gjinushi had, the previous day, described the accusations made by the AD Assembly as petty political games and public insults directed at the Social Democratic ministers. This is a serious, no-holds-barred accusation that opens a chapter of its own within the coalition, concerning one of the government’s most important ministries. And while the liberals and social democrats trade sharp blows, signals are coming from Melo’s party calling for these quarrels and disputes within the coalition to be quelled. On page 3
