Albright to visit Albania on Saturday

The visit by the Secretary of State is expected to put an end to the deadlock that has strained relations between Tirana and Washington for more than a year. According to her spokesperson, Albright is expected “to thank Albania for the role it played in addressing the humanitarian crisis during the conflict in Kosovo and for the role it is playing as a factor of stability in the region.” This is the second time Albania has been visited by a Secretary of State.
