editorial Ilir Babaramo Yesterday, Albania lost yet another opportunity to take the right step toward integration into the European family. Despite the wrapping of apologies in which the EU’s position on Albania was dressed in the final declaration adopted yesterday at the Zagreb summit, we lost yet another opportunity. One year ago, Tirana was at the same starting point as Skopje for signing the association agreement. Macedonia signed this agreement yesterday, while Albania does not know how much longer it will need to reach this level of integration. This is the fault. Everything else is propaganda. Hopes become even more distant if one considers the stance taken yesterday by the Albanian delegation. Continued on page 5
