The President of the Republic of Albania will be granted a lower salary next year than this year’s. This has been announced in the 2011 draft budget, which has already passed the Council of Ministers. According to the explanatory report of this draft budget, “the salary of the President of the Republic is 250,000 lekë per month and increases up to 2% in line with the Council of Ministers’ determinations for the general wage increase.” In the revised budget
