Qemal Sakajeva was editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Bashkimi”, a trade-union newspaper for workers, when he decided to publish the article “Democracy and humanism - an inseparable binomial”, written at the time by Dr. Sali Berisha. 20 years later Sakajeva speaks about the article published by the doctor of the time and current prime minister, Sali Berisha, on 17 September 1990, a full 28 days after the meeting that Ramiz Alia held with the intellectuals of Tirana.
