Full work in Parliament must be guaranteed The Commissioner for Enlargement in the European Commission, Stefan Fyle, has asked Prime Minister Sali Berisha to take responsibility for resolving the political deadlock in Albania. In a letter he sent on 24 September, Fyle writes to the head of the Albanian government that: “electoral reforms require cooperation in Parliament. As prime minister, you share with the other political leaders the responsibility for finding a way out of this dead end.” The Commissioner asks Prime Minister Berisha to ensure that the OSCE recommendations are fulfilled in time, so that the upcoming local elections...
