According to Italian Colonel Renzo Nisi, the seized drugs amount to nearly 55% of the quantity confiscated in Italy during the first six months of this year. Durim Vishkurti, 31, Sokol Çota, 35, and Ermal Dorda, 25, were caught in the improvised laboratory for processing heroin, while packaging it. The operation to catch the Albanian trafficking group operating in northern Italy was carried out in Verona. According to the Italian agency ANSA, the youngest of them, Ermal Dorda, had arrived a few days earlier from Albania to coordinate the drug processing.
