Albania has dropped two places in the world ranking of economic freedom. The news is reported by the prestigious newspaper “Wall Street Journal”, in cooperation with the “Heritage Foundation”, which will begin assessing various aspects of countries’ economies, related to the opportunities to do business in them. At present, our country is in 70th place, among the 189 countries analyzed, down from 68th place, which it held last year. Experts have lowered Albania by two points...

The candidates who took part in the Faculty of Medicine’s specialization competition continue to be dissatisfied. The newsroom has received a letter from the candidates who underwent the second interview in surgery, in which they claim that the regulations were not applied regarding the distribution of places within the list of winners, but that they were made according to the preferences of the competitors, making the 78th place the winner and leaving the 13th place off the winners’ list. Meanwhile, the maxillo-facial candidates also complain that the same violations were committed in their competition as in obstetrics, but the list of winners remains the one announced after the interview.
