In the morning LSI demanded that the result be announced, while Ristani declared Basha the winner late in the evening by 78 votes. Today the decision Prime Minister Sali Berisha yesterday held a “working afternoon” with the head of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta. The informal meeting between the two main leaders of the governing majority took place at a private villa in the tourist village of Gjiri i Lalzit around 7:30 p.m. The choice of this place appears to have been made in order to keep everything away from the eyes of the media and the public’s curiosity.
