The prosecution is uncovering the scheme behind the scandal involving smuggled virgin oil. A full 17 thousand tons of crude oil was declared as exported abroad, while in fact it was distributed on the domestic market even though it was prohibited by law. According to the prosecution, the company “EUROIL” sh.a., managed by the arrested businessman HajrI Elezi, bought the virgin oil from ARMO and distributed it in Albania. The two ships “Rita S” and “Cilieta”, which supposedly transported it...
