The Democratic Party, in its list of candidates for municipalities and communes, has only 1% female candidates. The majority’s promise to increase the number of women in leadership positions in municipalities and communes appears to have been merely declarative. This is because out of 384 local units, only four PD candidates are women. Two candidates are in the communes of Fratar and Fermë Çlirim, while the other is in the Municipality of Memaliaj.....
