Aurela Isufi (Basha), the wife of the majority coalition's candidate for the Tirana Municipality, is not an Albanian citizen. By Decree No. 4117 of the President of the Republic, Alfred Moisiu, she was allowed to renounce her citizenship as early as 19 January 2004. Mrs. Isufi's (Basha) name is tenth on the list of names that were allowed to renounce citizenship under this decree, pursuant to Article 92, letter “c”, of the Constitution, and Articles 15, 19 and 20 of Law No. 8389, dated 05.08.1998, “On Albanian Citizenship”. The Minister of Health, Petrit Vasili, does not seem to have gotten off so lightly from his accident in the first week. He was admitted again to the Military Hospital on Sunday, after his leg swelled and hematoma spots formed. During yesterday, the Minister of Health underwent a minor surgical procedure on his leg, which was successful, while he is expected to leave room no. 3 of the Military Hospital surgery department later today.
