“Down with the shameful coalition and new elections without Saliu.” That was the white banner that yesterday conveyed the message of the opposition protesters on Tirana’s main boulevard. As had been announced by the PS, this protest passed without any incident, while according to PS estimates, around 200 thousand people took part, a figure reported several times....

Foreign investors are becoming concerned about the impact of the country’s political crisis on the investments they have made. At the same time, through state-business relations, they are calling for something, despite the government having long claimed to have achieved European standards in this area through its regulatory reform carried out in recent years. It was the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, Giovanni Degrano, who yesterday spoke clearly about the demands of foreign investors in Albania.
“Foreign and local business are currently facing the global economic crisis, which has also affected Albania. Therefore, at this moment, a security injection is necessary; messages of trust must be conveyed,” the Italian investor said.....
