According to the draft, which may also be approved with the four votes of the majority, the CEC will make available around 1.8 million lek for this process, which is expected to last 60 days. The fund will be allocated to fuel and the salaries of the workers who will empty the boxes. But meanwhile, unlike the ballot papers from June 28, 2009, which kept Albanian politics hostage for about two years, this time the ballot papers will be burned very quickly. According to the Socialist Party, all this hurry has a reason. “Ristani, before leaving the CEC, is erasing the trace of electoral crime. This is an attempt to hide the manipulation of the May 8 elections,” the socialist jurist near the CEC, Eridian Salianji, said in an interview yesterday for “Gazeta Shqiptare”...
