PD proposes Dhori Kule for the Bank of Albania, while LSI proposes Ela Golemi By DARINA TANUSHI The son of the murdered MP, Socialist Fatmir Xhindi, is expected to take Ermelinda Meksi’s seat in the Assembly. Yesterday, PS MPs gathered signatures to propose the former Minister of Integration, Meksi, for the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania, which means that if approved by the Assembly, Meksi must give up her parliamentary mandate. Consequently, on the list of deputy candidates for the Fier district, this mandate will go to Anduel Xhindi, the son of the Fier district MP who was killed 2 years ago, on the eve of the campaign for the 2009 elections. Contacted by “Gazeta Shqiptare”, Anduel Xhindi said: “I have been officially informed about this proposal by the MPs of the Fier district.” The deputy candidate declined to say more, awaiting the official decision.
