In the next elections, we will be without LSI” One of the MPs critical of Edi Rama in the PS, Ben Blushi, said yesterday, during the Socialist leader’s candidacy for mayor of Tirana on 8 May 2011. During the “Top Story” program by journalist Sokol Balla, Blushi spoke for the first time in a long while about his new relationship with Rama. He expressed his views on the figure of Leka Zogu as well as his thoughts on the new political situation, in which the PS should move toward taking power in 2013. Why did the PS not express any condolences for Leka Zogu? I believe that MPs of different levels will take part in the tributes in Parliament. It is up to me, since I am in public, to express condolences to the family and, if I make a brief comment, the honors being paid to him are deserved, but mainly because of the name of the family and of his father. He is a figure whom history has not given the place he deserves. He remains controversial, but one of the best state-builders Albania has ever had. Continues on page 5
