Meksi’s reply: It is your fault PS MP Ermelinda Meksi refuses to hand over her parliamentary mandate in order to run for membership of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania. Official sources from the PS said yesterday to “Gazeta Shqiptare” that over these days there has been a discussion on this issue between PS chairman Edi Rama, MP Meksi and several other MPs from the PS and the parliamentary group. According to the same sources, yesterday too there were several meetings in Chairman Rama’s office with Meksi, the deputy chair of the parliamentary economy commission Mimi Kodheli, with whom he discussed the matter. After consulting legally, Rama asked Meksi to give up her parliamentary mandate in order to run for the supervisory council, since according to the Constitution, a parliamentary mandate is incompatible with other public functions.
