The prosecutor was found in violation by Ina Rama, and can now return to office By KLODIANA LALA The Supreme Court “strikes down” President of the Republic Bamir Topi. Yesterday, a civil panel of this court annulled the decree of the head of state, deeming absolutely invalid the dismissal from office of the prosecutor of Laç, Tom Deda. This decision opens the green light for Tom Deda to possibly return to the prosecution service. The dismissal of the representative of the prosecution office in Kurbin, Tom Deda, took place in 2009, after an inspection carried out by the prosecutor’s office into the work of the prosecution body, for the period 2006-2008. During this inspection, numerous violations committed by the prosecutor were found and for this reason chief prosecutor Ina Rama proposed to the President of the Republic that Deda be dismissed from office.
