The trio of foreign ambassadors in Albania, Aleksandër Arvizu of the US, Etore Sekui of the EU and Eugen Volfarth (OSCE), took part yesterday in the proceedings of the PS Congress, just like many other diplomatic representatives invited to the event. But at one point, after a little more than an hour had passed since the speech by the PS leader, Edi Rama, two of the ambassadors, the US ambassador Arvizu and the OSCE ambassador Volfarth, left the hall and departed. The EU ambassador, Sekui, however, continued following Rama until the end of the speech. It seems that the very long speech, about 90 minutes, by the PS leader tired the “VIP” guests, especially since the Congress also started half an hour late. It should be noted that the US ambassador arrived at the PS Congress proceedings at 11:00, while the Socialist leader began speaking at 12:30. Arvizu left at 13:45,...
