He left hoping he would win his battle with the serious illness. He left to close his eyes in the hospital in Bergamo. Shkëlqim Hajdari, head of the Appeals Prosecution Office, is one of the people who stood by him in the last days of his life. Together with Prof. Petrit Bare and his cousin Flori Karaj, he saw prosecutor Hana off at Rinas airport.
