A change in the leadership of the PD is a distant prospect; no one should hope for it By VALENTINA MADANI Jemin Gjana knows closely all the comings and goings of the PD over the 21 years of its existence. As a protagonist of these internal developments, Gjana has seen how various individuals left the party when they did not find the post, the power they wanted, or “others repentant who found shelter in the old house.” That is why Jemin Gjana was not surprised by the news that a new party is being created by the former Democratic vice-president Bamir Topi as soon as he completes his presidential term. The former Minister of Agriculture, currently an MP, a member of the PD presidency and head of the parliamentary committee on Productive Activity, says in this interview for “Gazeta Shqiptare” that, in his view, the voters who will gather around Topi’s party will come from the left and not from the PD.
