The consortium “Vetro Silk Road Equity” put a total of 850 million euros on the table to make the assets of “Albpetrol” its own. Thanks to this considerable sum, it is the seller who has the consortium’s position in the race for the Albanian oil company shaken during the review of the other offers. Especially considering that, according to the criteria set by the government for determining the winner for the best financial offer, the company receives 75 percent of the points in the tender, while 25 percent concern technical conditions.
