But the investigation also includes the state of Cyprus, also known as a “tax haven.” The news was confirmed yesterday to the media by the head of the HIDAACI, Adriatik Llalla. “The Inspectorate is investigating several cases of officials who are under scrutiny for suspected assets abroad. We are awaiting the information we have on these cases. We are investigating several cases, mainly in the countries of the region, in Europe, but mostly in countries around Albania. Cyprus is also included in the investigation,” Llalla said. His statement was made immediately after an open discussion held yesterday with students of the Faculty of Law on the topic “Students, active in the fight against corruption,” held with the support of the OSCE on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day...
