Rama: There is a chance for consensus By DARINA TANUSHI The parliamentary group of the PS was involved yesterday in debates, a few minutes before the start of the parliamentary session, scheduled to vote for the country’s new President, with 84 votes. Even for this third round, the PS did not propose any name, while this position of its parliamentary group was not supported by all its deputies. Thus, according to confidential sources from the PS parliamentary group, deputies Arben Malaj and Paulin Sterkaj asked that the party and its forums take a clear position on the issue of the President. Malaj is said to have been more forceful when he addressed PS leader Rama, asking that the deputies be consulted too, as well as the party leadership, that the matter be clearly defined and that it be stated what modalities the PS is seeking in the political stances its leader takes toward the PD.
