In the next elections, we will be without LSI” One of Edi Rama’s critical MPs in the PS, Ben Blushi, said yesterday during coffee that the Socialist leader’s re-candidacy for the Tirana mayoral race on 8 May 2011 was “date of the television program ‘Top Story’ by journalist Sokol Balla, Blushi spoke for the first time in a long while about his new relations with Rama. He expressed his views on Leka Zogu’s figure as well as his thoughts on the new political situation in which the PS must move toward taking power in 2013. Why did the PS express no condolences for Leka Zogu? I believe that MPs at different levels will take part in the tributes in Parliament. It is my duty, although I am in public, to extend my condolences to the family and, if I make a short comment, the honors being paid are deserved, but mainly because of the family name and the father. He is a figure whom history has not given the place he deserves. He remains controversial, but one of the best state-builders Albania has ever had. Continued on page 5
