, Mehdi Pogaçi, in an interview given yesterday to “Gazeta Shqiptare”, stated that the reform in the army announced by Defence Minister Arben Imami is not a disaster. But he adds that “what worries us is the fate of these servicemen because of the very low pensions they receive, being unable to support and feed either themselves or their families”, he says. Mr. Pogaçi, two days ago the Minister of Defence, Arben Imami, announced a reform in the army, according to which after the dismissals “the elimination of parasitic structures” will result in “the release of 800 people”. How do you comment on this initiative? Is this reform necessary or not, in your view? Of course, as far as the media has reported, the statements by the Minister of Defence are not very clear.
