Vlora MPs “rebel.” PS leader: The door is open for you By DARINA TANUSHI The distribution of members of the National Assembly as delegates in the districts caused heated debates yesterday between the leader of the PS and two of these members. Immediately, as soon as the names of the members, divided by region, were read out by organizational secretary Blendi Klosi, strong reactions came from the mayor of Vlora, Shpëtim Gjika. He expressed his dissatisfaction, as well as that of the local leaders of Vlora, over the appointments made by the presidency. According to sources inside the meeting, Gjika is said to have said that out of 9 delegates, 5 were assigned to Vlora, even though they live in Tirana and now have no connection with Vlora’s party life. The sources said that among those delegated from Tirana to this district were Theodori Solaku, Mezan Malaj and Besnik Dervishi, among others.
